1 Tip - on life with your dog

Dogs need their teeth cleaned just like we do. Dental issues can lead to health problems.

Regular teeth brushing with DOG specific toothpaste & dental check-ups at the vet are important.

Consider adding a seaweed powder (Ascophyllum Nodosum) to their food. Studies have shown it can help reduce plaque and tartar buildup.

Check for bad breath, bleeding gums, excessive drooling, and difficulty eating.

1 Idea - on the leading edge

Dogs have around 1,700 taste buds, humans have approx. 9,000 with dogs being more sensitive to salty, sour, and bitter tastes than us.

A dogs taste and scent senses are separate but work together creating a smell/ taste experience, which is why your dog drools when smelly food is around.

If you have a picky eater, remember dogs will mostly eat anything that smells good to them, so choosing very aromatic foods will increase your chances for success.

Check our Blog: 'Please don't eat that!

1 Quote - on dogs

All dogs have the ability to bite, just as all humans have the ability to cause harm. The trick is to act in a reasonable way so that harm becomes unnecessary. Bonnie Garmus, Lessons in Chemistry
