Create a quiet place for your dog to retreat and rest, that way no one is stressed. Especially your dog on a day when you spend time with the people you love but may not see every day.

Studies show dogs have millions of scent receptors that sort smell and odours filing them for future use. If Auntie June brought a special treat for your puppy Max last year, he is likely to remember Auntie June fondly, due to this filing system. Memory held in scent.
