1 Tip - on life with your dog
If you use a Chuck it, give your dog has an opportunity to warm up before you start throwing the ball, that way you can avoid sprains and strains.
1 Idea - on the leading edge
Play is important for a dog's social development and well being, most dogs play well into old age. It helps them to learn how to interact with other dogs and people, play also builds confidence and self-esteem.
There are different play styles. Object play, like Fetch or Tug of war.
Rough and tumble play such as wrestling, biting and rolling around, it can look aggressive but if the dog's share this play style it's great for letting off steam.
And Solo play, such as digging and chewing.
Make sure the dogs take a break to avoid over arousal and that they swap roles, if you are playing tug, it's okay to let your dog win, that way you can both enjoy the game.
