1 Tip - on life with your dog
Does your dog rush out the door? Try putting their lead on and ask for a sit, then slowly open the door, if they try to barge out, close the door. Repeat until they can sit calmly with the door open, your patience is key. This will also make your dog calmer on their walks. Practice in 5 minute sessions at every door in the house.
1 Idea - on the leading edge
Dogs are just like people, they may not like every dog they meet and don't have to. Some dogs are Social, they like every dog. Some are Tolerant, they like most dogs. Some dogs are Selective, they like the occasional dog and then there are a small group of dogs who just don't like other dogs, they're Dog Aggressive. It's recommended to seek professional advice to help manage this. Most dogs fall into the Tolerant and Selective groups. Whatever group your dog fits, that's okay. Remember, bad days happen and that's okay too.
1 Quote - on dogs
How many legs does a dog have if you call his tail a leg? Four. Saying that a tail is a leg doesn't make it a leg. Abraham Lincoln
