1 Tip - on life with your dog
Imagine eating the same meal, in the same place for the rest of your life.
Dogs are intelligent creatures who crave mental stimulation. By changing where you feed your dog or the way you deliver their food you can add interest into their day.
Scatter their kibble on the ground, creating a treasure hunt or use food puzzle toys which dispense the food as your dog works them out. Be creative! It's trial and error that will show you what your dog enjoys.
1 Idea - on the leading edge
Slow deliberate blinking in dogs is a calming signal. It's a way for them to communicate a peaceful intent and to diffuse any tension and build trust. Unlike humans who find comfort in direct eye contact, dogs can perceive prolonged staring as a threat. So, a slow blink acts as a friendly way to break eye contact without appearing aggressive.
