On Sock theft

Does your dog steal your stuff? Instead of chasing them, which can become a great game for your dog, try this:

Ignore them: When your dog grabs a sock etc., resist the urge to chase.

Redirect the Play: Grab a toy or anything they can have and play with it enthusiastically.

Reward Good Behavior: Once they're engaged with the toy, have a short play together.

Quietly Retrieve: While they're distracted, calmly collect your sock.

This is an easy technique to encourage behaviors you want and discourage the ones you don't. Remember to praise your dog often for any good behaviors, like lying quietly or walking calmly beside you.
