Loads of dogs love the 'chase me' game. The trick is always making them chase you by running away, stopping for a little jig with them, then moving away again. Your dog will enjoy the movement as dogs find movement intrinsically motivating, and you'll have a dog who is always coming to you!
1 Idea - on the leading edge
Calling your dog to you and moving toward them is a sure-fire way to have your dog ignore your call. They'll look and see you coming toward them and feel they're leading and going the right way. By calling and moving away, your dog will naturally feel the walk is headed in a different direction, and they'll join you to find out which way is next. A treat when they return also builds value in that behaviour.
