On seeing the world from your dog's pov

1 Tip - on life with your dog
Dogs experience the world through their senses—following scents, investigating textures, and making on-the-go decisions.
When we let our dogs naturally navigate their world, they become calmer, more confident and engaged. We can do this by working with your dog's senses and giving them meaningful choices. E.G.: Let them follow or linger at scents during walks, choose which toy to play with, or where to rest by leaving doors open.
This week's challenge: Offer your dog one choice each day in line with their instincts and see if you notice the difference small choices make.
1 Idea - on the leading edge
Cynomorphism - seeing the world through your dog's eyes. Instead of assuming what our dogs need based on human logic, we tune into their instincts and preferences. This "dog's-eye view" helps us recognise that simple choices—like which path to sniff or where to lie down—aren't trivial to them, but meaningful decisions that reduce stress and build confidence.
