1 Tip - on life with your dog
Training your dog for life. Practice a U-turn with your dog regularly to be able to change direction quickly.
With your dog on lead, say 'this way' give your dog a chance to look to you THEN turn and walk in the opposite direction.
It's important to let your dog know you are changing direction so you are not dragging them by their neck.

Having a strategy for dealing with your dog's triggers, such as a cat dashing out or the grouchy dog around the corner, is essential.
