1 Tip - on life with your dog
Teaching your dog a 'Hand Target' helps with recall, gives your dog a skill you can ask for when the environment is stressful and helps at the vet. See below to train it.

How to Train Hand Target
Make sure your dog is paying attention to you. Try saying 'Ready' said in a bright voice.
Present your hand quickly to the side of your dog's head. The palm of your hand is flat and open.
When they turn and touch their nose to you hand say 'Yes' and reward your dog.
If your dog ignores your hand, place it behind your back. Wait for your dog to look at you, then present your hand again.
To encourage your dog to hold their nose on your palm longer, gradually increase the time between the touch and saying 'Yes' and rewarding.
Practice regularly. It’s a fun game your dog will enjoy and a helpful management tool for you.
