Here are some ways to respond to unwanted behaviour.

Ignore it
Redirect it e.g. pick a toy up & play a short game
Use a sound to divert attention e.g. a gentle clap or call their name in a bright voice
Manage the environment e.g. pick up your socks!
Be clear and consistent about what is okay and what is not.
