On a picnic dinner

1 Tip - on life with your dog
As your dog grows older, it doesn't mean they need less; in fact, older dogs can suffer from terrible boredom, each day looking well.... samey. They will benefit from a little extra stimulation in their day. Try changing the spot where you feed them, turning mealtime into an adventure. Feed them in the kitchen, the next by the back door, maybe even out on the deck if the weather's nice.
1 Idea - on the leading edge
Every simple shift in your dog's routine can provide a lot of mental stimulation; it gives their brain something new to process. New smells, new views, same food, same time. Think of it as a little picnic dinner for your dog—low effort for you, enriching for them. Plus, there's something about eating in a new spot that just makes food taste better—trust me, your dog will agree.

Old dogs, like old shoes, are comfortable. They might be a bit out of shape and a little worn around the edges, but they fit well. Bonnie Wilcox
