Does your dog get overexcited around other dogs? Try parallel walks. On-lead walks with other dogs let your dog get used to being around other dogs in a calm, sensible way.
1 Idea - on the leading edge
Start with one or two sensible, friendly adult dogs. Meet in an open space with the dogs on harnesses and long enough leads, 3-5mtrs. Give the dogs time and space to check out the environment before starting the walk. Begin with a good distance between the dogs, and the dogs on the outside of their people, walking parallel. As the dogs become comfortable, slowly reduce the distance between them. If any dog gets overexcited, increase the space again.
