1 Tip - on life with your dog

If the energy at the dog park starts tipping too high, don't wait it out: clap or call your dog and move away. Movement is your friend; they'll follow, and the pressure on them will drop instantly.

1 Idea - on the leading edge

A dog park isn't the place to teach your dog good manners or socialise them; it's a test of the manners and socialisation they already know. If your dog doesn't have the self-regulation skills to cope with other dogs at different stages, your local dog park isn't the best place to go.

1 Quote - on dogs

The dogs that struggle most at the dog park are often the ones whose only off-leash time is at the park. It's not a lack of care from the owner; sometimes it's a lack of other options.
