Cancellation Policy

Securing Your Training and Payment • Payment is required in full when booking to secure your dog's training session and guarantee availability. • A Confirmation email will be sent to confirm your scheduled training date and time upon booking. • We offer four-session training packages to ensure your dog has sufficient time to learn new behaviours. If you require a payment plan, please contact us directly to discuss options. Cancellations and rescheduling • We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. To reschedule your training session without incurring an additional cost, we require cancellation notice before 8:00 am on your scheduled training day. • Cancellations received after 8:00 am on the training day will be subject to the full training session fee. • Cancellations for weekend sessions require 24-hour notice (by 8:00 am the day before) to avoid a fee. Exceptions to Cancellation Fees • We understand that exceptions may occur. We may consider waiving the cancellation fee under certain circumstances, such as documented emergencies or sudden illness of the dog or handler. • Please contact The Dog Behaviour Academy (DBA) via SMS at +64 212812323 to discuss your situation and determine eligibility for a fee waiver. Please note • Non-payment of your account will result in your debt being forwarded to a collection agency and may incur additional charges. • DBA reserves the right to suspend services for behaviours outside our expertise. In such cases, we will direct you to specialists within the behavioural field. We encourage you to review this policy carefully before booking your dog's training sessions.
